Minibot Development

The main differences among the Minibots include the location of the Camera and a variety of features. The Camera on the Minibot is fixed and located on the front of the crawler. On the Pan Tilt Minibots the camera is located on a Pan Tilt Mechanism atop the Chassis and in the FTM the Go Pro camera is located out front on a tilt-only mechanism. (Panning is achieved by rotating the entire platform with is “Zero Radius Turning”)

Another feature I wanted to include on the Minibot line, is upgradeability and interchangeability. So now with this Modular Design you can swap out different motors- High torque or High speed, different wheels, and tires with High Ground Clearance etc. The Operator can also swap out batteries for longer runtimes. With the development of the Minibots we also include the option for additional LED lights and a carrying handle.

After several years of product development and refinement, Inspectorbots was able to offer a portable inspection system which included outstanding features such as Wireless Control, Rugged 4WD, Zero Radius Turning, Live Video Feed, High-Definition capture of Video or Stills, Pan Tilt Mechanisms, Interchangeable Parts, Modular Design, onboard LED Lighting and Rapid Deployment.
